Directions to Your Fetal MRI:

All fetal MRIs are done at UCSF China Basin, located at 185 Berry Street in San Francisco. Please arrive at Suite 190 (located in Lobby 7) at least 30 minutes prior to your appointment. We ask that you refrain from eating or drinking other than water for 4 hours prior to the fetal MRI scan. The entire scan should take 1-1.5 hours.

From the main UCSF Campus (Parnassus):
Drive east on Parnassus to Stanyan and turn left. Follow Stanyan to Oak Street and turn right. Follow Oak to Franklin and turn left, move to the right hand lane. Make the first right on Fell Street and cross Market Street. On the south side of Market, this becomes 10th Street. Continue south on 10th to Folsom Street and turn left. Follow Folsom to 4th Street and turn right. Continue south to King and turn left. Turn right at 3rd Street (AT&T Park) and immediately after crossing Berry Street, enter the China Basin parking lot on the right. Follow parking garage signs to the Valet booth. Go upstairs and enter the building at lobby 7.

From UCSF Mount Zion:
Drive east on Bush Street (two blocks north of the Hospital) to Hyde Street and turn right. Follow Hyde south and cross Market Street. On the south side of Market, this will become 8th Street. Continue south on 8th to Folsom Street and turn left. Follow Folsom to 4th Street and turn right. Continue south to King and turn left. Turn right at 3rd Street (AT&T Park) and immediately after crossing Berry Street, enter the China Basin parking lot on the right. Follow parking garage signs to the Valet booth. Go upstairs and enter the building at lobby 7.

From the Bay Bridge:
Exist the westbound Bay Bridge at Fremont and turn left at the end of the ramp. Turn left at the next opportunity, Howard Street. Go about one block and turn left at 2nd Street. Follow 2nd Street south to King Street and turn right. Turn left at 3rd Street (AT&T Park) and immediately after crossing Berry Street, enter the China Basin parking lot on the right. Follow parking garage signs to the Valet booth. Go upstairs and enter the building at lobby 7.

From SFGH:
Take Potrero Avenue north and after crossing under the freeway, it will become Brannan Street. Follow Brannan to 4th Street and turn right. Continue south to King and turn left. Turn right at 3rd Street (AT&T Park) and immediately after crossing Berry Street, enter the China Basin parking lot on the right. Follow parking garage signs to the Valet booth. Go upstairs and enter the building at lobby 7.

From Highway 280:
Follow 280 North and exit at King Street. Continue on King to 3rd Street and turn right (AT&T Park) and immediately after crossing Berry Street, enter the China Basin parking lot on the right. Follow parking garage signs to the Valet booth. Go upstairs and enter the building at lobby 7.

Directions for Follow-Up Visits:

All visits are done at the UCSF Pediatric Clinical Research Center. It is located at UCSF's Parnassus campus at 505 Parnassus Ave. Upon entering the building through the front entrance, take the main elevator bank to your left up to the 6th floor. Just outside the elevator is a hallway where you will turn right. Slightly down this hallway is a waiting room where a study coordinator will meet you and introduce you to the doctors who will be conducting the visit. Please arrive 15-30 minutes before your appointment. Testing should take 1-2 hours. A parking permit will be mailed to you prior to your visit.
